Tooth whitening
There are several methods that can be used to whiten your teeth. Take home professional bleaching has the lowest cost, while in office bleaching is completed in one visit. Deep bleaching, which can be 1 or 2 office visits and includes a take home kit, has the highest cost and the best results, particularly for very dark teeth. If you are going through orthodontics, tooth whitening can put the finishing touch after you complete your treatment.
Dental veneers
Dental veneers can be used to improve the esthetics of your teeth, including improvement in the shade or shape of the teeth. Orthodontics is the preferred method to straighten and align your teeth, however, some individuals would rather not go through the longer process of braces or aligners. With a couple of appointments, dental veneers can be used to create an esthetic and brighter smile.
Smile makeover
Not all smile makeovers are done for purely cosmetic or esthetic reasons. Damage to the teeth from grinding (bruxism) or erosion (from acidic fluids/foods) can result in loss of tooth structure that may not be apparent to a patient. In severe cases, crowns are often used to re-establish and protect the remaining tooth structure, while also providing an improvement in esthetics for the patient.
